About us

For us, food safety is more than a compliance matter. It is one of our core values and is at the heart of everything we do. The safety of our consumers is our paramount goal, and we comply with food safety standards in our operations. We do this with effective and efficient processes, respectful management of resources and people, and delivering with the highest level of integrity.

The company is based in the Bekaa Center located in Ferzol. Locally, long term business has been established with the largest produce retailers in the region, while internationally, the main export markets are the Gulf Countries, in particular Dubai. Exports include all kind of fruits and vegetables, all according to seasonal availability.

History

The company has a long track record, going back to 1965 when Jabbour for Agriculture and Trading Company was established and engaged in the production and marketing of a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs such as potatoes, onions, cabbage, cauliflower, melon, iceberg, lettuce, broccoli etc.

Since 2006, the business is managed by Georges Jabbour under the new company name “Frehsco – Georges Jabbour for General Trading”. The new management is highly focused on food quality standards and regulations.
