About us

Lebanese Avocado company was founded on September 4th, 2014, by once a small self-made farmer, Mohamad Hijazi, who is now one of the largest producers of sustainably farmed avocado in Lebanon and the Middle East. The organic avocados are exported around the Middle East, Russia and recently to Europe.
Through 30 years of self-educating and experimenting, Mr. Hijazi was able to publish his own Handbook on safe planting of from climate and biological diseases. He also became a consultant collaborating with international funders to spread awareness and the avocado farming in Lebanon.

Production

Because of all the collaboration and development, the production rate increased vastly up to 400 tons per year. The fresh avocados are intact, clean, free from damage, and able to withstand transport and handlings. Thus, delivering customers one of the tastiest avocado fruits.
In a world where avocados are seen as water draining and unsustainable, we prove the opposite through our sustainable farming practices and certifications. In 2022, Lebanese Avocado earned the Global G.A.P certificate and soon it will have the Organic Certification.
